Welcome to The Codex
Starting in January 2023 community specific content has been slowly moving to Retro1.Org (CODEX). Along with that migration, significant work has been invested in providing reference materials for the hobbyist community. Beginning in January 2026, content that has been in development for years is now being released to the hobbyist community.
New content has been added to the PLATO , CDC , and IBM Community pages and more will be rolled out throughout the coming year.
Note
Nearly all content will remain publicly accessible with the exception of detailed pages documenting the formatted system source code. The ability to browse those pages will require registration due to excessive page-scraping by parties choosing to ignore requests to the contrary.
Code Repositories
All repositories are under the control of GIT.
Access to repositories is granted by explicit permission.
The following are repositories that are under active maintenance on this CODEX:

Fun Fact: CODEX
A codex is an ancient manuscript text in book form, typically made from a number of sheets of paper, vellum, papyrus, or similar material, with hand-written content on both sides, often bound by stacking the pages and fixing one edge. It replaced the scroll format and is considered the earliest form of the modern book.
